V. Berezny police received a report from the inspector of Uzhok National Park about unauthorized felling of 27 trees in the forest near the village of Kostrynska Roztoka.
The investigative team arrived at the scene. In "hot pursuit", the police detained a 41-year-old feller. This man comes from Kostrynska Roztoka, but now lives in the city of Uzhgorod. He came to visit his father and decided to stock up on wood. So he went into the forest and cut some trees…
The wood in the amount of 5 cubic meters was seized. An investigation over this incident has been initiated.
