Owners of luxury cars in Transcarpathia have paid to the budget almost UAH 2.4 million

During January-August 2016, payers of the vehicle tax paid to the local budget UAH 2 million 354 thousand. Individuals – owners of passenger cars paid to the budget UAH 1 million 823 thousand, legal entities – UAH 531 thousand of the tax.

It should be noted that payment of the vehicle tax for certain brands of cars was introduced on January 1, 2015. However, the Law of Ukraine of December 24, 2015 №909-VIII "On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and laws of Ukraine to ensure the balance of revenues in 2016" introduced innovations for vehicle tax payers in this year.

In 2016, objects of vehicle tax are cars no older than five years and with the average market price of more than 750 times the minimum wage established by law as of January 1 (UAH 1.03 million).

Regarding the tax rate, it has not changed and amounts to 25 thousand per one car per calendar year.
