Yesterday, around 9.00 pm, Uzhgorod patrol policemen received a report that on Mynaiska street, near the supermarket, an unknown person was selling a bike.
Policemen arrived on the scene and saw a young man who was offering to buy an imported bike "Totem" for a nominal price of 150 UAH.
The citizen could not explain where he got the bike and was getting increasingly nervous.
Patrol policemen checked the database and found out that a few hours earlier a similar bike had been stolen on Chelyuskintsi street.
The policeman called the investigative team at the scene. Along with the investigators, the applicant – owner of the stolen bike – arrived. The woman immediately recognized her bicycle.
The case was handed over to the investigators.
