Uzhgorod City Council session continues. Many programs concerning the distribution of public funds are being considered.

Thus, among other things, logistic support for the police will be funded at the expense of the city budget.

It is planned to buy some equipment for the patrol police. Thus, members of the Uzhgorod city council approved the Program of logistic support for the patrol police.

In particular, the police will receive uniforms for bicycle patrols, computer hardware, communications, GPS navigation means and video recorders. Funding for the prevention of children road traffic injuries, organization of competitions, playground equipment, production of printed materials, etc. is also provided – the City Council inform.

They say: The Program is needed to improve public safety, reduce the number of crimes, accidents, improve the efficiency of patrol police, expand patrol routes, take measures for the prevention of road traffic injuries, create a positive image of the new patrol police.

123,000 UAH will be allocated for 2016. 23,000 UAH – for the bicycle patrol.
