In the course of the pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings in the field of protection and rational use of forest resources under procedural control of Tyachiv local prosecutors, several searches have been conducted at a state forestry and several undertakings engaged in timber production.
According to the Tyachiv local prosecutor Stepan Zhovnir, during the searches, they seized questionable documents for the supply of wood in amount of over 300 cubic meters, and found about 140 cubic meters of wood, the documents for which raise doubts.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings continues.
