This potato was dug up last week during the potato harvesting in a garden in the village of Imstychovo in Irshava district. People were very surprised, because it was the only such specimen among 85 bags of the harvested potato. The photos were provided by a witness of the discovery Petro Shtefanyo.
The monster potato or the piglet (as kids called it) has 11 offshoots, weighs 652 grams (a lot for a potato), and is 18 cm long. They haven’t cooked anything with the wonder potato, because they are keeping it as a single specimen.
