As we reported, yesterday, August 17, late at night, near the police post at the entrance to the city of Mukachevo, patrol policemen stopped a driver who was violating the traffic rules.
The car was driven by a judge of Uzhgorod City and District Court Mykhailo Rotmistrenko. According to the medical examination, the judge was drunk – alcohol content in the detainee’s blood was 2.24 ppm while the maximum allowable level is 0.2 ppm.
Mykhailo Rotmistrenko, according to his declaration for 2015, did not own or have the right to use any car. Recall that journalists from the Bureau of Investigations "Know!" found out that in the last declaration judge Rotmistrenko listed only his salary (160,073 UAH per year, which is roughly 13,300 UAH per month) and the land in area of 5000 sq. m.
According to media reports, M. Rotmistrenko is the nephew of the former judge of the Constitutional Court Andriy Stryzhak.
