At the customs post "Dyakovo", a sniffer dog of the Transcarpathian customs office found hidden tobacco products.
A citizen of Romania, who arrived at the customs post by a car "VOLKSWAGEN GOLF" with Romanian registration, tried to illegally move cigarettes across the border. The foreigner chose the "green corridor" for customs control.
Before the customs inspection, the Romanian stated that she was not carrying goods or objects hidden from customs control.
In the course of the customs control, the vehicle was taken out of the "green" and sent to the "red corridor". A sniffer dogs engaged in the advanced customs inspection gave the signal that in the luggage compartment there might be goods prohibited or restricted for moving across the border.
After examining two cardboard boxes and a plastic bag with trays for detergents, custom officers found domestically produced cigarettes undeclared during the oral questioning and hidden from customs control, with Ukrainian excise stamps of the following brands: 130 packs of "EB", 40 packs of "STRONG" and 100 packs of "ROSHE".
Thus, the foreigner committed actions aimed at moving cigarettes across the customs border of Ukraine, concealed from customs control.
These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
Currently,the report on violation of customs regulations has been made, the cigarettes and the trays for detergents were seized.
