July 21, at about 19:30, Uzhgorod policemen were patrolling Zankovetska street.
At that time, the driver of a Skoda Superb, seeing patrol policemen made a quick turn into a lane. This maneuver seemed strange to the policeman and they decided to follow the car. However, on Yokai street, the policemen saw that the "Skoda" had crashed against the fence of a kindergarten.
Once the car stopped, the driver rushed to his heels, abandoning his car.
The policemen caught the offender.
The man refused to give any explanation for his actions. In addition, he showed signs of intoxication. The test for alcohol content in the blood showed a positive result – 2.59 ppm.
The policemen made appropriate reports against the driver. The car was evacuated to the impounbf lot of the Patrol Police Office.
