The Ministry of Defense extended the list of posts that can be taken by female soldiers

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine introduced amendments to the Interim list of staff positions of military personnel. Thus, the list of posts of military personnel, that female soldiers undergoing military service under contracts can be appointed to, has extended significantly.
While previously servicewomen were allowed to serve on positions of mainly musical, medical specialties, accountants, clerks, cooks, communications specialties and various business positions, now this list includes almost all military specialties.
The relevant changes were made under the order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine of 03.06.2016 № 292 (registered with the Ministry of Justice on 22.06.2016 № 880/29010).
