On Sunday, August 7, in Velyky Bychkiv of Rakhiv district, the "Festival of stuffed cabbage" will take place. This year, the participants plan to cook as many as 35 kinds of stuffed cabbage.
The festival was launched back in 2010. Then, they cooked 25 kinds of stuffed cabbage, and during this year’s festival, which will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2016, they plan to cook as many as 35 kinds of this dish. There will be also a wide range of national dishes of potatoes, flour and other products. Local masters of arts and crafts, members of amateur groups will aso take part in the event.
Along with the festival, the 643rd anniversary of the village will be celebrated.
