The police arrested a robber, who had beaten a woman and her daughter in their own house

In Vynogradiv, the police detained a robber in hot pursuit. Now, he faces imprisonment.

The police received a report from a doctor of Vynogradiv Central Hospital. The doctor said that a 16-year-old resident of the village of Fanchykovo with multiple injuries had been admitted to the intensive care unit.

As the police of Vynogradiv found out, the girl had been beaten by a 19-year-old resident of the village of Trosnyk. The experienced thief, previously convicted for theft, entered the house of the victims and was scouring in search of valuables. In this moment, the 16-year-old girl came home and saw the burglar in the middle of the room. The burglar, without hesitation, began to beat the unwanted witness. And then, snatched a mobile phone from the girl.

Hearing the noise, the mother of the beaten girl entered the house. The robber attacked the 38-year-old woman and fled.

In hot pursuit, the investigative team managed to identify and find out the whereabouts of the suspect. The offender admitted to the crime. The mobile phone was seized as evidence.

The incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under Part 2 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Robbery). This article provides for the punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 4 to 6 years.

 The court imposed on the detainee a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention in Vynogradiv jail.
