Today is the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the main Transcarpathian military unit – the famous 128th Brigade, which on the front was nicknamed the "Iron Brigade".
Until recently, it was called Turkestan brigade, due to the history of the official establishment of the unit. But recently, the Defense Ministry changed the name of our favorite unit, which is based in Transcarpathia. Now the heroic unit is called the 128th separate guards mountain infantry Transcarpathian brigade.
Volunteers congratulate our defenders. The coordinator of the main volunteer organization in the region – the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers – Galina Yartseva says to the soldiers: "Congratulations to all the fighters of the glorious 128th Brigade. We wish you to have new, modern equipment, high-quality logistics and personnel.
Decent social security for families and respect from people. We believe in you and are proud of you!". We join the congratulations. Be alive and well, our defenders, and return from the front with victory!
