4 advertising media will be dismantled today in Uzhgorod on Druzhba Narodiv Square. The company "Eco XXI century" is removing boards and cuttting off poles on their own, following the decision of the executive committee of Uzhgorod city council, which applies in particular to the advertising media placed next to the ring road. The "Eco XXI century" is removing three billboards near the Rotary Park and one near the pedestrian crossing leading to the Masaryk park.
Representative of the company said that next they plan to remove 7 advertising designs on B. Khmelnitsky Square, also under the decision of the executive committee. The city authorities hope that representatives of other companies, whose advertising media are subject to dismantling, will do the same.
Uzhgorod city council reminds that in early May, at a meeting of the executive committee, they decided to dismantle about six dozen advertising media that do not meet the requirements of the Procedure for placement of outdoor advertising in the city.
