A Transcarpathian company is suspected of intentional tax evasion (PHOTOS)

Yesterday, tax police officers in Transcarpathian region, on the basis of a court order, raided one of the companies located in the city of Beregovo.

The investigative actions were carried out for the investigation of the criminal proceeding under Part 2 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – willful evasion of taxes, duties and other compulsory payments in the system of taxation imposed in accordance with the law committed by prior conspiracy or resulting in actual underpayment of money in large amounts to budgets or state funds.

These actions are punishable by a fine of five hundred to two thousand non-taxable minimum incomes, or correctional labor for up to two years, or imprisonment for up to five years, with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.

Thus, as a result of the search, they seized:
– Cash in local currency – almost 400,000 UAH;
– Financial and business records;
– Cash registers;
– Office equipment;
– Second set of books;

Currently, the investigation is ongoing.
