Hennadiy Moskal made a working trip to the city of Kosice (Slovakia) and met with the management of the Kosice airport, owned by Austrian Airlines. Aircrafts from the aairport fly to many countries, including "Kosice – Kyiv". The purpose of the bilateral meeting was to resume flights between Uzhgorod and Kyiv, which were suspended last month due to lack of a carrier.
The Slovak side accepted the suggestion of the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration to make a stopover of the flight "Kosice – Kyiv" in Uzhgorod. In the near future, the airline representatives will come to Transcarpathia and examine Uzhgorod International Airport for the possibility of resumption of air travels to and from Kyiv.
The final decision will be made by the end of the trip.
