Today, around 2 am, border guards of the Chop detachment together with customs officers found hidden cigarettes that a citizen of Lithuania tried to illegally move to the EU.
Thus, a car "BMW" driven by a citizen of Lithuania arrived at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod". However, the nervous behavior of the driver aroused suspicion of border guards. As a result, it was decided to conduct joint in-depth inspection of the vehicle.
As a result of the inspection, in the fuel tank of the car and in a constructive cavity of the back seat on the right side, the border guards found domestically produced cigarettes "LM LOFT" and "BOND STREET" in amount of 134 packs.
Currently, all the found tobacco were seized and estimated at about 2,000 UAH. The same fate befell the vehicle "BMW", which was estimated at almost 180,000 UAH.
