The decision on arrangement of recreation location was supported at the meeting of the executive committee

The decision on the arrangement of a recreation location and measures to prevent loss of life on bodies of water in Uzhgorod was supported at the meeting of the executive committee.

The recereation location on the bank of the Uzh will be arranged on the area of ​​1000 square meters within Botanichna embankment (near the Children’s Railway).

The Department of Minicipal Economy was tasked to ensure the inspection of the Uzh river bottom within the defined limits and to check the readiness of the recreation location. By the same decision, swimming, boating, use of water entertainment within the city limits was prohibited.

The Department of Education, in turn, has to organize at school summer camps lessons on the rules of conduct on the water under the program "Safety of human life." Patrol police in Uzhgorod and Mukachevo must provide patrolling and ensure public order near the defined recreation location. The Department of Municipal Economy will be responsible for maintenance of the recreation location, and for the timely maintenance of the toilet there – the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod". The information is posted on the page of Uzhgorod city council
