The Palanok Castle invites you to an evening tour in memory of Ilona Zrinyi and Imréhez Thököly

334 years ago, on June 15, 1682, in the castle Munkacsi Var (Palanok), a lavish wedding between Croatian Princess Ilona Zrinyi and the leader of kuruc rebels Imréhez Thököly took place. Who were those people? What did they have to go through? How ardently did they love each other and what was their fate? – all these questions will be answered in an evening tour to the Palanok Castle.
It will include:
– a walk with torches in the night castle and the story about the feelings of two people in the maelstrom of historical events;
– an excellent sand animation about the two lovers;
– a small concert of a violin quartet;
– a little wine, which no wedding could do without in those days.
