The regional festival-competition of games and game programs "Hraylyk 2016" has started in Uzhgorod, the official page of Uzhgorod City Council on Facebook informs.
On the eve of the International Children’s Day, May 31, the opening ceremony of the traditional, already 14th festival-competition of games and game programs "Hraylyk 2016 " took place in the Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts.
During the day, representatives of culture professions, in particular, club workers, teachers of art schools, students of the College of Culture from different districts, were playing with children on stage while improving their professional skills.
"Our children now mostly play on computers, they have little personal communication, and such competitions encourage them to play games other that virtual – the author of the festival, teacher-methodologist of Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts Lyudmila Ukhach said. – And students, who conduct the games with the kids, obtain practical experience."
During the day, the jury viewed game programs of the participants and tomorrow, June 1, on Teatralna Square, at 12.00, the awarding of the winners of the festival-competition in various categories will begin.
