The large-scale reform of territorial departments of justice, which will soon be eliminated, continues in the country. Instead, the system of free legal aid will be expanded by establishing legal aid offices. 13 of them will be operating in Transcarpathia starting September. They will provide legal information, represent clients in courts and advise on online services of the Ministry of Justice.
An open competition has been announced to find highly qualified professionals to replace the heads of legal aid offices. The basic requirements for applicants are higher legal education not lower than the first (bachelor) degree and fluency in Ukrainian.
As reported at a briefing by the director of the Regional Centre for Secondary Legal Aid in Transcarpathian region Vasyl Popadynets, in order to participate in the competition, one should submit an application on the website www.legalaid-jobs.in.ua.
