Uzhgorod district: four vehicles were burning, the owner of the cars was injured

Today, at 4:04, the rescue service of Transcarpathia was reported about a fire in four cars at the private mansion in the village of Ruski Komarivtsi in Uzhgorod district. The owner of the house, waking up at night, noticed that in the yard the fire had engulfed three cars and was quickly spreading to a tractor.

Firefighters of the 14th and 16th State Fire and Rescue Units promptly arrived at the scene. In total, 2 vehicles and 9 personnel members were engaged in fire fighting. First of all, firefighters localized the fire to not let it spread from the vehicles to the house. 

The 45-year-old owner of two vehicles, who had found out the fire, was injured. He tried to extinguish the fire on his own and suffered I-II degree thermal burns of the leg. The man refused from hospitalization and stayed at home.

The authorities are finding out the cause of the fire. The damages are also being established as the flames completely destroyed a car "UAZ-31514", partially destroyed cars "Mercedes-Benz" and "Mercedes-Benz Vito", and also damaged a tractor "DongFeng".
