Border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment once again detained some “divers”

    In Transcarpathia, during the active phase of the special operation "Frontier 2016", Mukachevo border guards detained two violators. The unknown men, which were found 10 meters from the border, were wearing diving suits and carrying five packages of tobacco products. The men had no IDs, however, they said that they were citizens of Ukraine. The "divers" wanted to smuggle contraband tobacco across the Botar watercourse which forms the border. The width of the channel reaches two meters and the depth is about a meter and a half.

     The detainees and the packages with 2,300 packs of cigarettes "Compliment" were taken to the unit. The reports of administrative offense were drawn up against the men. The offenders will be judged in court.
