The Rescue Service of Transcarpathia was reported about a fire in the building of the secondary school in the village of Nyzhnya Apsha in Tyachiv district. The fire in the classroom on the second floor of the facility was noticed by the secretary of the village council, who lives nearby.
Firefighters of the 8th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Tyachiv promptly arrived at the scene. Firefighters from local fire brigades of Teresva and Solotvyno came to help them. By the arrival of the fire units, flames had completely engulfed the classroom and were bursting out of the windows. In general, 3 vehicles and 10 personnel members were engaged in the fire extinguishing.
Nobody was injured and killed in the fire.
The authorities are finding out the cause of the fire. Damages are being established, as the fire destroyed property in the literature classroom and damaged the windows on the third floor and the roof on the area of 6 square meters.
