In Transcarpathia, border guards found 2 students, who had gotten lost and reached the border

Border guards of the Chop detachment in cooperation with Slovak colleagues prevented an attempt to violate the state border. As a result of timely exchange of information, two citizens of Ukraine were detected and then stopped near the border.

Thus, yesterday, border guards of the department "Uzhgorod", having received information about two unknown persons moving near the border of Slovakia and Ukraine, immediately went to the site of a possible violation. During search operations, 200 meters from the state border, "green berets" found and detained unknown man and woman. As it turned out later, they were citizens of Ukraine, because they had domestic passports. The detainees, a 19-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man, told that they were third year students of one of Kyiv universities and allegedly had come to Transcarpathia to rest. Then, walking in Uzhgorod, they headed towards woodland and got lost. Soon, they saw border signs and then met border guards.

Then, border guards took the young people to the unit to clarify all the circumstances of the offense.
