Yesterday, around 23:00, a crew of the patrol police in Mukachevo received a report that in the Palanok neighborhood a citizen had been forcibly robbed of a gold ring.
Upon arrival, the policemen interrogated the victim. During the questioning, the patrol policemen found out that the victim’s friend, threatening with physical violence, had searched his pockets, pulled out a wallet and removed a gold ring from his finger. Since there were only documents in the wallet, the thief returned it to the owner, and then fled in an unknown direction.
In hot pursuit, Mukachevo patrol policemen caught the offender before midnight.
The fate of the thief and the sentence will be determined by the court.
