Elderly people have shown their “Spring of Hope”

In the building of the Charitable Fund "CARITAS" of the Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese in Uzhgorod, there was an exhibition of works by members of the Day Center for Seniors "Spring of Hope". They presented the works made by themselves (embroidery, drawings).  

This is another proof that old age can be equally exciting and active. Visitors of the exhibition and concert could see it themselves. In addition to crocheting and cooking, senior, but with youthful lifestyle, people sing folk songs, Christian songs, write poetry and publish collections.

The project "Day Center for Seniors" at the charitable fund "Caritas" of the Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese has been operating for over 5 years. Its members are single women and men, for whom a good word, advice, warm smile are vital. They come there with a desire to join the world of spirituality, goodness and beauty.
