More than fifty representatives from different structural units of the Regional State Administration took part in the campaign to clean up the "Rotary Park", the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reports. Armed with brooms, rakes, shovels and other implements, for several hours, employees of the regional admininstration were working on beautification of one of the most picturesque parts of the regional center, cleared it from piles of plant remains, polyethylene debris, cigarette butts and dangerous broken glass. And many townspeople with children, joggers and cyclists, as well as small park residents only reassured about the need of natural zones in the city and their ordering.
Indeed, the cleanliness of the environment is our shared responsibility, so we should not forget that green oases of the city belong not only to us but to other living creatures – from the majestic trees to the tiniest insects. So, if not for our own benefit, then at least for theirs, we need to keep our common home clean or at least not to litter in it.
