The hematology department of the Transcarpathian Regional Children’s Hospital badly needs ventilation system. This was reported to the leaders of the region – Hennadiy Moskal and Mykhailo Rivis – during the fourth plenary meeting of the second session of the Regional Council by depputy Ivan Chubyrko.
"I received a petition from members of the charity initiative "Golden Heart" on behalf of parents of children who are treated at the hematology department of the Transcarpathian Regional Children’s Hospital – the deputy said. – They ask the regional authorities to assist in addressing the issue of the design and estimating operations and allocation of funds from the regional budget for the installation of ventilation systems (extracts)."
According to the deputy, the ventilation system costs over 180,000 UAH. Volunteers can not raise this amount. So Ivan Chubyrko asks the regional leadership to consider this problem and help in solving it as soon as possible.
– It is unacceptable for sick kids to be in such conditions. Therefore, the Regional Council and Regional State Administration immediately responded to this parliamentary inquiry and today allocated 187,000 UAH for the purchase and installation of ventilation systems in the hematology department of the Transcarpathian Regional Children’s Hospital – the head of the Regional Council Mykhailo Rivis summed up.
