The coverage of orphans and children deprived of parental care with family care will expand
Amendments to the Program of the reform of institutions for orphans and children deprived of parental care for 2012-2017 will be submitted for consideration of the Regional Council deputies.
The purpose of the Program is to create by 2017 the conditions for implemention of the state policy on state guarantees and constitutional rights of orphans and children deprived of parental care and persons among them.
Representatives of the child care service of the Regional State Administration, Transcarpathian Regional Centre of Social Services for Families, Children and Youth, the Department of Finance of the Regional State Administration take part in the implementation of the said decision.
The draft decision has been approved by the heads of these units without comments.
During the implementation of the Program, there will be inspections of services for children of district state administrations, municipal executive committees, provisions of consultations regarding social and legal protection of children including all necessary measures regarding placement of children (if case of loss of parental care) in families of citizens of Ukraine.
After the amendments, the total amount of funding will not change.
The Program implementation will allow to increase the coverage of orphans and children deprived of parental care with family care.
