Not for vegetarians! (ANOUNCEMENT)

Thanks to the "technologisation" it is easier for the consumer to buy a product, not in its typical harvest-period. Thus, the question arises: what they do, for instance, to a tomato for it to grow in winter and not to lose its outlook? The answer is obvious. In Hungary they try to popularise products that can be bought directly from the manufacturer. The most popular way of doing this is organising festivals.

One of the most interesting in February is the festival of mangalica. That is the name of the true piggy of a Hungarian "brand". It is said that she is cholesterol-less. She is also believed to be smarter than her pink relatives. It is confirmed by the fact that she lives only in a clean and fenced area. By the way, it is easy to distinguish the mangalica from other species by her ‘fine fur’.

To popularise the tasty Hungarian meat, the festival of the mangalica will be held in the centre of the city this year. The traditions are constant. This means that the entrance is free again! Visitors will have the opportunity to buy first-class meat from the manufacturers from all over the country. Moreover, they will have a chance to taste cheese, buy paprika or treat children with marzipan.

However, the most interesting are the heroes of the events. You will have the chance to see them! Make a gift for your beloved one to Saint Valentine’s Day! The event will take place on the Liberty Square, district V., Budapest on 12-14 February.

We remind you that there is a traditional Transcarpathian meat festival as well that has taken place recently.
