At 08:20 a.m., on February 1st, the operational and rescue service of Zakarpattia was informed about a fire in the "Ukraina" shopping centre that is located in the Cyril and Methodius Square reports the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zakarpattia.
The building caught fire on the first floor. The fire was localised at 11:05 a.m. Warehouses and trading places were burning on the first floor at 11:10 a.m. The approximate burning area is about 1000 sq.m.
12 units of equipment and 70 members of the special unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zakarpattia work to extinguish the fire.
