During the day, Transcarpathian rescuers towed 6 trucks

During January 25, rescuers of the 11th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Volovets were called to tow trucks three times. The calls were received by the Rescue Service "101" at 11:40, 13:50 and 22:35. In total, rescuers towed 6 vehicles on the Volovets and Mizhhirya passes.

All trucks were empty, but they still could not overcome passes due to ice-covered ground. The situation was complicated with the fact that the vehicles were equipped with winter chains. Rescuers towed the trucks to the top of the hills, and then the trucks drove on their own.

Overall, since the beginning of the year, rescuers have towed 22 vehicles on Transcarpathian passes. 20 vehicles and 59 officers the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region were engaged in these works.
