On Monday, January 25, 2016, due to the reconstruction of the checkpoint "Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemecke", traffic of cars and trucks will be temporarily suspended. The reason is the earthworks, namely laying of power cables.
The checkpoint will be closed from 09:00 to 11:00.
We encourage travelers to choose the closest border checkpoint "Maly Berezny – Ubl’a." This checkpoint operates non-stop.
Those heading to the Slovak Republic may also use from 08:00 to 20:00 the border crossing "Mali Selmentsi – Velke Selmence." You can also get to Slovakia using the railwau checkpoint "Chop – Cierna nad Tisou", according to the train timetable.
