On Thursday, January 14, at 14.00, in Uzhgorod Press Club, there will be a presentation of a book of selected poems by Vasyl Diyanych.
Poet and journalist Vasyl Diyanych was one of the most popular writers in Transcarpathia in 1960s – 1970s. Songs with his lyrics were performed at almost every concert of the Transcarpathian Folk Choir.
On July 15, 2015, the poet would have turned 90 (Vasyl Diyanych passed away in 1980). His collection of poems "Fern Blossom" was published in 1985. Transcarpathian regional writer organization initiated a new publication. Shortly before the New Year, the plans were realized.
The presentation will be attended by members of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine Vasyl Husti, Petro Khodanych, Yuriy Shyp, Serhiy Fedaka. And also the daughter of the writer Miroslavs Halytsia with husband Ivan.
