According to the Transcarpathian Hydrometeorology Center, at night and in the morning of January 14, in the mountainous part of Transcarpathian region, heavy snow and sleet, ice covering on the roads is expected. In some places, slush build-up, fog with visibility of 200-500 m, sometimes 50-100 m.
The Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine appeals to citizens to be extremely careful while outdoors, not to plan long distance trips and not to go hiking in the mountains.
