Carolers from all over the region will come to the festival in Uzhgorod

On January 17, the regional festival "Carols in the old village" starts in Uzhgorod

It is an annual festival that brings together the best caroling teams from almost all districts.

In addition the organizers invite tourists and local residents to participate too. They say that on that day the festival unites all Ukrainians with carols.

The festival will take place in the "Old Village" – the museum where old houses are collected from all over the region. The participants will be going from house to house and singing Christmas songs. The festival will begin with a worship in the Shelest church of the 17th century – the Transcarpathian museum of folk architecture and life informs.
