In Transcarpathia, the court fined a district military commissar for corruption offense

Velyky Berezny District Court in Transcarpathian region convicted a regional military commissar of committing a corruption administrative offense.

          A close relative of the district commissar was his direct subordinate. The commissar did not disclose this fact, which causes a conflict of interest, to his management as provided by the current legislation.

         Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region made a report on corruption administrative offense under Part 1 and Part 2 of Art.172-7 (violation of requirements on prevention and settlement of conflict of interests) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences.

The court ordered the military commissar to pay 3400 UAH fine.
