On the night of January 5th, in the village of Krasna in Tyachiv district, a warehouse belonging to a private entrepreneur caught fire. A resident of a neighboring building noticed smoke and at 00:21 reported the fire to the rescue service of Transcarpathia.
Firefighters of state fire and rescue stations of the village of Dubove and the village of Ust-Chorna arrived to fight the fire on Myr street. Together they localized the fire at 1:05, and at 1:50 it was completely eliminated. Before the arrival of firefighters, the fire had destroyed only 10 square meters of the warehouse roof. All products that were stored in the warehouse (building materials and grain) were saved from damage.
Law enforcement authorities are finding out the cause of the fire. One of the probable versions is a short circuit in the wiring of the warehouse. The damage caused by the fire is being established.
