The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine made the first rating of socio-economic development of regions.
According to the evaluation, this year, the best socio-economic development is recorded in the city of Kyiv, and in Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv and Vinnytsia regions. The worst is in Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Donetsk and Luhansk region.
The evaluation was carried out on the basis of the information from ministries, central executive authorities, regional and city administrations by 26 indicators in six areas.
As for Transcarpathia, it is on the 15th place. The performance of the region was particularly affected by the ranking of economic efficiency. In this area, Transcarpathia is one of outsiders. The energy efficiency rating is not too good too.
