Those, who have not dismantled illegal advertising, will pay a fine (PHOTOS)

The work under the planned strategy of clearing the city of illegally installed outdoor advertising continues in Uzhgorod. 

Thus, there was a working meeting of the officials of Uzhgorod city council with representatives of companies dealing with advertising media, where they decided to establish a working group that will be dealing with this problem chaired by the Deputy Mayor Istvan Tsap. 

The working group includes experts of the Department of Municipal Economy, the Department of the Municipal Police and Order, as well as entrepreneurs, representatives of the Association of Advertisers, – the press service of Uzhgorod city council informed. 

 
The first step is an inventory of all advertising media. During the first inspection of the working group, they found 8 billboards, 40 banners, 9 boards on the walls, 4 signs, banners, etc. installed without any permits and violating traffic rules, limiting visibility on the roads. 

On December 8-11, they conducted preventive and explanatory talks with the owners of illegal advertisements, made 20 order to be fulfilled in a few days. The owners of those advertisings must either come to the city council to receive permits and, accordingly, pay money to the city budget, or dismantle the illegal media. 

This week, the municipal police department officers began checking the fulfillment of those orders. 4 advertising media have alsready been dismantled, and those owners, who have not fulfilled the orders, will be fined. 

A serious conflict, in particular, arose with the company that placed at Shumna st., 25 as many as 3 wall advertisings and 4 banners. The owners do not want neither to dismantle them nor to apply for permits and fulfill the requirements for outdoor advertising. The report on administrative violation has already been drawn up, soon the case will be considered at the administrative commission meeting.

There are also many complaints about the outdoor advertising of the entertainment complex "Dzhin" and the fishing store located nearby, which belong to one owner. Treport on administrative violation over this fact has also been drawn up.
