Yesterday, December 14, 2015, the tax police of Transcarpathia included registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations criminal offenses committed by two citizens of Ukraine.
Thus, the financial investigation department registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations two criminal offenses classified under Part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On December 11, 2015, citizens of Ukraine imported undeclared goods in a car "SKODA OCTAVIA" via the checkpoint "Tisa" of the Transcarpathian customs office.
In particular, in one of the cars, there were 147 mobile "iPhone" phones and 34 "iPad" tablets of the brand "Apple". Thus, the citizen willfully evaded payment of taxes and customs duties in the amount of UAH 887.4 thousand.
In another "SKODA OCTAVIA", there were 98 "iPhone" smartphones and 33 "iPad" tablets. The Ukrainian intentionally evaded payments of taxes and customs duties in the amount of UAH 737.2 thousand.
Currently, the investigation is ongoing.
