Deputy of the regional council from the political party "Opposition bloc" Victor Rusin on his Facebook page stated that he was ready to run for the post of the chairman of the regional council.

"Unfortunately, in the regional council of this convocation, there is no deputy who is equidistant from all political groups represented in the regional council and who could unite the majority of deputies for taking important decisions.
Today, Baloha and Moskal are competing with each other. They deserve each other.
I promised my voters to do everything to improve social services in villages and their life in general. Is it possible to do it in such a situation? I think it’s possible. If the next Tuesday they do not elect the chairman and the management of the regional council, I will personally nominate myself for the chairman as I am non-affiliated and not dependent on any groups. And then I will be able to consolidate normal people in all parties", – the deputy said.
