About flooding of settlements in Transcarpathian region as of 14:00 on November 21 (PHOTO)

Heavy rainfall, that occurred in the region during the day of the 20th and at night of the 21st of November, led to the rise in the level of groundwaters and major rivers of the region.

As a result, there was flooding of households in settlements of Mizhhirya, Rakhiv, Tyachiv, Volovets and Irshava districts.

As of 14:00, November 21, 167 households (including 33 residential houses), 17 hectares of farmland are flooded, namely:

Mizhhirya district:

the town of Mizhhirya – 20 households (the Rika river);

the village of Repynne – 6 households (the Repynka river), the water went down by gravity;

the village of Kolochava – 15 households (the Hyrsovets river)

the village of Tyushka – 1 household (unnamed stream), the water went down by gravity;

Rakhiv district:

the city of  Rakhiv – 30 residential buildings (the Tisa river)

the village of Kvasy, the village of Roztoky, the village of Kosivska Polyana, the village of Kobyletska Polyana (the Tisa river) – 18 households;

due to the flooding of the roadway, traffic to the city of Rakhiv, the Krasne Pleso tract, between the villages of Bilyn and Kvasy, the village of Dilove, the village of Kostylivka (the Tisa river) is suspended

Tyachiv district:

the village of Ust-Chorna – 20 households (the Teresva river)

the village of Ruska Mokra – 15 households (the Mokryanka river);

the village of Uhlya – 1 household (the Uholka river);

the village of Neresnytsia – 4 households (the Teresva river);.

the village of Kalyny – 4 households (the Teresva river);

the village of Lopukhovo – 10 households (the Brusturyanka river);

the village of Hanychi – 5 households (the Teresva river);

the village of Tarasivka – 15 households (the Tarasivka river).

Volovets district:

the village of Nyzhni Vorota – two basements of residential buildings(the Latorytsia river);

the town of Volovets – 1 basement (the Vycha river).

Irshava district:

the village of Dubrivka – 2 hectares of farmland (the Borzhava river);

the village of Siltse – 15 hectares of farmland (the Irshavka river). 

The situation is under control of the management of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region. The information on the aftermath of the bad weather is being specified.
