Transcarpathian breeder Henrich Straton this year gathered over one tonne of kiwi harvest. This is the eighteenth fruit yield that Mr. Henrich has gathered on his land of 5 acres.
The man says that, unlike those imported from abroad, his kiwis are environmentally friendly because they are not treated with chemicals.
Soon, the biologist plans to hold in one of the Uzhhorod supermarkets a campaign for sales of the Transcarpathian kiwi. He wrote on his page on facebook: "Still gathering kiwi harvest… Also, we are packaging it for sale."
Henrich Straton said: "The campaign for the sale of kiwi will be held on November 27-28 at the supermarket "Dastor", from 16.00 on Friday, with 14.00 on Saturday."
