Dear Mr. Poroshenko!

I appeal to you as the Guarantor of rights and freedoms of citizens.

This morning, a grenade was thrown to the yard of the house of Uzhgorod city council deputy from the party "Vidrodzhennya" Yuriy Mandych. The explosion completely destroyed the car.

A few minutes after that incident, another grenade explosion destroyed the car of the activist of the party "Vidrodzhennya", the chairman of one of Uzhgorod PECs Igor Stavytsky.

Mandych and Stavytsky are active members of my team in the election of the mayor of Uzhgorod. My opponent in the second round is twice convicted S. Ratushniak, who, predicting his defeat, resorted to outright intimidation and banditry.

Election is the main tool of building a democratic society. One of the main tasks of democratic government is to ensure all necessary conditions for holding free, fair and legitimate elections.

I ask you to take decisive measures to stabilize the situation in Uzhgorod, identify and punish of those involved in these crimes.
