As of the morning on November 4, Mizhhirya Town Election Commission has not announced the winner among the candidates for the post of the town council chairman.
According to the OPORA, on Monday, November 2, a candidate for the town head from the party "Svoboda" Vasyl Baran filed a lawsuit to Mizhhirya district court with a demand to oblige the Commission to announce the election results.
On Wednesday, November 4, judge of Mizhhirya district court Anton Haydur granted the petition. In particular, the court ordered Mizhhirya District Electoral Commission to announce the winner among the candidates for the town head.
Currently, the observer of the OPORA has not managed to get through to the chairman of the DEC Hanna Ivanyna – her phone is "out of reach". So it is unknown when and how they are going to execute the judgment.
According to the OPORA, the current town head Vasyl Shchur won the most votes among the candidates. The latter reported to the OPORA that he had no information about the actions of the town election commission.
