Yesterday, at the site of the department "Vylok" of the Mukachevo detachment, border patrol squad saw an unknown person in mask on the bank of the river Tisa. Having noticed the border guards, the man tried to flee. The response team was sent to catch him. The man was detained 500 meters from the border line. Near the detention scene, border guards found two men in masks and a rubber boat hidden in the bushes.

All detainees were undocumented and said that they were citizens of Ukraine. They and the boat were taken to the border guard unit. Currently, law enforcement officers are identifying the detained persons and checking them for involvement in smuggling or other illegal activities at the state border.

In addition, yesterday morning, at the site of Mukachevo border guard detachment, soldiers of the department "Dilove" found three packages of cigarettes. They were prepared to be moved across the border, because they were just 40 meters away from the state border. Currently, the persons involved in illegal activities are being identified, the press service of the of the Broder Guard Service of Ukraine informed.
