Today, October 27, at the customs post "Chop-Railway", during the customs control of an international train "Kyiv-Bratislava", they found undeclared and hidden domestically made cigarettes "Marlboro gold". The total amount of the tobacco products is 440 packs, worth 9,680 UAH. All the found cigarettes were with excise stamps of Ukraine.
The hidden cigarettes were under the sink in rolled-in mattresses.
During the customs control, a citizen of Israeli acknowledged that he had concealed the cigarette with an intention to move them across the customs border of Ukraine. Thus the foreigner committed acts aimed at moving goods across the customs border of Ukraine concealed from customs control.
These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations under Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The report on violation of customs rules was drawn up, the tobacco products were confiscated.
