Chamber choir “Cantus” performed songs of Mykhailo Krechko

The concert in memory of the great musician, conductor, who made the Trascarpathian choir famous, took place in the Transcarpathian Art Museum. The chamber choir "Cantus" performed compositions of Myhailo Krechko, interpretations of Transcarpathian folk songs.

These days, People’s Artist of Ukraine, composer, known choirmaster, one of the founders of the Transcarpathian Honored Folk Choir Mykhailo Krechko would celebrate the 90th anniversary.

During this period, art institutions of the region organize events dedicated to the anniversary, to remind about the works of the teacher, folklorist, who started as a soloist of the Transcarpathian Folk Choir.
